Conservatory Furniture

Check with the manufacturer whether your cane conservatory furniture is suitable for use in the garden as well. That way you will get more usage.

Choose a cushion pattern you know you can live with for years.

If you have a smaller conservatory, choose conservatory furniture that is compact, with cushions in neutral colours. It will make your conservatory look larger.

Use colours that blend in with the colour scheme in nearby rooms.

Make sure that cane conservatory furniture and its cushions are fire retardant.

Caring for your conservatory furniture.

Cover your furniture when not in use.

Check with the manufacturer whether you can remove the cushion covers for (dry) cleaning.

Direct sunlight can affect the colour of the fabrics.
It's best to turn the cushions periodically.

Cane and rattan conservatory furniture should not be placed under direct, harsh sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can may cause them to dry. Dust them regularly with a dry paint brush. This will allow you to reach in between the grooves. You can also vacuum with a small brush attachment. Use a moist soft cloth to clean the surfaces about once every two months. This will keep them free from grime.

Do not use spirits or other chemical products. They may cause harm. Seek professional cleaning help if your furniture becomes badly blemished.
